We are so proud to report that team 7975F, "Download Complete" were crowned UK VEX Robotics National Champions this weekend in Telford, as well as winning the "Create Award", Brunel Division, and achieving 2nd place in the Skills Challenge.

During the first day and a half, teams competed for places in the final, managing matches with interviews and skills rounds, with all Olave’s teams performing well in their divisions. Following a tense alliance selection all teams were successful in making it to the final round, with 7975E and 7975H competing to the quarter finals. 7975F continued to compete, utilising their excellent autonomous programming, tactics and build quality to win their matches and making it to the final match. After a gripping round of matchs and some tough competition, 7975F won the final with their partner ‘TBC’ winning 26 points to 10, being awarded National Champions.

This achievement was a reflection of their dedication and hard work throughout the year and earns them a place in the World Championships. Our congratulations go to Joseph, Amaan, Noah, Joel and Daniel.

Well done  aslo to all students who competed in VEX this year and we look forward to starting the 2019-20 season when the new game is released at the start of May.
