It has been a busy 12 months for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award with many students completing their awards and
7 gaining the highest honour – Gold. This year we have completed 4 Bronze expeditions across the North Downs and 2 Silver across both the North and South Downs. The Gold has been tough, with some grim conditions over the Easter break in a wet Brecon and then a very hot Gold Assessed in Snowdonia, presenting a different set of challenges. All have been successful with many students passing with aplomb. A very big thank you to Mr Holland and all the staff without who the programme would not function.
