25 March - Oxford German Olympiad

In March 2019, students in years 7-9 studying German were able to submit entries to the Oxford University German Olympiad. Students either worked alone or in small groups on a choice of 3 tasks: producing a leaflet to advertise a zoo, making a poster about the terrifying, evil counterpart of Saint Nicholas, the Krampus, or writing a dialogue between two imagined characters discussing the existence of monsters. The entries were diverse but equally creative, and we are excited to find out the results of the competition from Oxford University.
