28 March - Surrey Swimming Success

Huge congratulations to Srikar Namireddy, who recently participated in the Surrey Spring  Swimming Championships, becoming the U16 County Champion for the 100 metre breaststroke (with a time of 1:08:97) and the 200 metre breaststroke Champion (with a time of 2:31:53). He also finishing 2nd in the 50 metre breaststroke (with a time of 32:57).

This placement means he automatically qualifies for the Southeast Regional Championships in May.

In additional to these achievements, Srikar has set a new school record for the 200m breaststroke, whilst also breaking the 50m record, which has held here since 1979, by more than 3 seconds. We wish him continued success for the forthcoming Regionals.
