The German department is delighted to announce that three students in year 9 came runners up in a national competition in the year 7-9 bracket, the ‘Oxford German Olympiad’. This is a competition run and judged by Oxford University, open to all schools in the country. The three boys – Joseph Davies, Tanush Upadhye, and Rohan Chavali – submitted a short dialogue between two imagined figures discussing the existence of monsters, in German. The boys and their parents have been invited to the Prize-Giving Event at the end of June in Oxford. All those who submitted entries to the competition will receive certificates of participation.
