6 March - 1XV Rugby

The 1XV have progressed hugely throughout this season, with the highlight of reaching the last 32 in the Natwest Vase after being knocked out of the Cup. Notable victories in this run include comfortable wins against Gravesend Grammar School, Hayes and Anglo-European school, before being knocked out by SEEVIC College. The team had a very promising pre-season tour, with our commitment and work-ethic setting a strong precedence for the rest of the season and this was built on through beating Colfe’s and Ravenswood while unfortunately losing to the Old Boys. A disappointing run was to follow with the team struggling to find form in the mid-term, but key players stepped up to help a depleted squad to a strong finish to the season with impressive performances against Skinners and rivals Langley, before coming very close against Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar school. The squad looks in for a successful sevens season after coming in as runners-up in the St Olave's Grammar School tournament.
