The Headmaster recently attended the Former Choristers’ Service at the Queen’s Chapel of the Savoy on Sunday 12 July and managed to catch up with former Head Chorister, Tom Dixon. Tom has recently graduated with a 2:1 in the MBiochem Degree from St Peter's College, Oxford, with a first class mark for his Master's dissertation. He will be continuing his research next year as a special research technician within the University of Oxford Biochemistry Faculty. He has also been appointed as a lay clerk at Magdalen College Oxford, where he will sing 6 services weekly with the boys and men of the chapel choir there. Tom commented: ‘I am very pleased to be able to continue to enjoy musical performance within a church service, as I first started to do at the Savoy. I am so grateful to St Olave's for helping to open doors for me into the choral world and for providing me with lifelong memories.’
