The Economics Department is pleased to announce the first publication of the Olavian Economist.
The publication has been written by a combination of year 12 and year 13 students from the Economics department; as well as Old Olavians and staff.

The Journal may be of interest to anyone who has an interest in Economics, Politics and Current affairs. It will be of interest to current students within the department as well students who are considering studying the subject at A level.
The first edition features twenty six articles on a range of topics including:

  • Can we live on the moon?
  • The Economic viability of Trident
  • Why is Britain still obsessed with Austerity?
  • Life after Brexit
