12 May - Year 13 Leavers raise £350 on final day in School

A HUGE thank you to our Year 13 Leavers who, on their final day in school yesterday, raised £350 for Action for Happiness as a leaving gift, supporting Mr Haines fundraising Ironman Challenge. Mr Haines, Head of Yr 13 and Teacher of Economics at St Olave's will be competing on 16th July - enduring a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle and finishing with a 26.2 mile run. He is raising money for Action for Happiness, an amazing charity that run courses around the country to offer advice on how to make life more enjoyable and fulfilling.

They founded the 10 Keys to Happiness (thoroughly recommended book for anyone interested) and use research from positive psychology to offer a more preventative and forward thinking approach to tackle the rise of mental illness. You can find their website here if you are interested
