This was a busy week in the PE department with 2 days of orienteering, House matches, a mixed activity day and the 1st XI cricket team playing down at the Nevill cricket ground against Geelong school. Year 8 undertook the orienteering and House matches, with the former being a new and challenging experience for many. We hiked out to Lullingstone Park and ten the boys were given maps and instructions before trying to find as many markers as possible - with 9 out of 21 being the most founbd. The House matches are also keenly contested and this year was no different as the boys abttled it out in cricket, table tennis, badminton, softball and tennis. Meanwhile the Year 9 students engaged in a multi-activity day comprising of street dance, the martial art of Doce Pares, football and Golf Xtreme - for many at least one of these activities was new. A busy but very enjoyable week!
