Very well done to Abhiram, who successfully completed Brighton bike ride on Sunday. It took 10 hours for him to reach Brighton. After a long day it was nice to see his smiley face at the finish point. With support of family, friends and teachers including primary school teachers he managed to raise a magnificent £525.00 towards Bloodwise.

Following his challenge, Abhiram reported..

"Sunday was very hectic as expected with demands of speed (sorry Dad). Nonetheless, I have completed the challenge and I feel amazing. Being one of the hottest days of the year, I could only cool myself by using my limited water supply, which was a bit of a pain. There were many challenging climbs, the hardest being Devil’s Dyke. My word… That was very treacherous. A sudden climb 217 meters was not my cup of tea! I was very happy to see how many people supported me during the ride.

It was worth all the pain and effort as all the funds we raised will go to Bloodwise, a charity that intends to undertake groundbreaking research to eradicate Leukaemia once and for all."
