Year 10 Olavian students that recently completed the inaugural British Physics Olympiad Year 10 Challenge. This is the first year of the competition and over 6400 of the most able Physics students in England and Wales took part. Our students performed amazingly well, achieving 46 Gold Awards, 27 Silver and 20 Bronze. Special mention should be given to Jamie Davies, Joseph Barradell, Edward Cameron, Noah Cassidy and Linus Luu as their marks placed them in the top 1% of participants. We hope that this will encourage the students to undertake the more challenging Year 11 Physics Olympiad paper next year. Well done to all the students who took part in the Year 10 Challenge.
