13 May - Year 7 Geography/RS Trip

On Monday and Tuesday of activities week year 7 went on a fieldtrip to Eynsford in Kent to investigate the local churches and settlement history of the area. Pupils began their day by investigating the architecture and religious symbolism found in Farningham and Lullingstone Church to provide inspiration for designing their own church. Afterwards pupils walked through the countryside examining siting factors and services in Farningham, Hulberry and Eynsford and how their functions have changed to meet people’s needs over time. Overall, it was an excellent day where pupils got to apply their religious and geographical understanding in the outdoors.
