5 Dec - Computer Science in Action Trip


On 27th of Nov KS5 Computer science students went for Computer Science in Action day trip to Emmanuel Centre.  Five renowned speakers (namely Tushar Sharma-expert in augmented reality and machine learning, Paul Curzon-Professor of computer science at Queen Mary University of London, Nigel Shadbolt-Chairman and Co-Founder of the open Data institute, Mandy Chessell- IBM Distinguished Engineer and Jamie Anderson- Cybersecurity Engineer and expert in digital forensics) revealed computer science at its very best and took our students to the cutting edge in fields such as Computer vision, software development, algorithms, pure programming and computer systems. It was an eye opener trip for our students to see how the future is revolutionised by the advancement in Computer science and technology.
