St. Olave's Grammar School celebrates outstanding GCSE results - 2026

St. Olave's Grammar School is celebrating another year of outstanding GCSE achievement, with pupils once again securing exceptional outcomes in this summer's examinations.

This year's cohort delivered impressive results:

• 91.5% of grades awarded were at Grades 9-7
• 53% of grades at the highest grade, Grade 9
• 79% of grades at Grade 9 or 8
• 11 students achieving Grade 9 in every subject
   

Headteacher Andrew Rees commented:

"I am incredibly proud of every pupil receiving their results today. These achievements reflect not only their talent, but also the hard work, determination and resilience they have shown throughout their time at St. Olave's.

While the academic outcomes are exceptional, we are equally proud of the young people they have become. They leave Year 11 as confident, independent and thoughtful individuals, equipped with the values, curiosity and ambition to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

I would like to thank our dedicated staff and supportive families for the vital role they have played in helping our pupils achieve so much. We congratulate every member of this year group and wish them every success in the next stage of their education, whether continuing their studies at St. Olave's Sixth Form or pursuing opportunities elsewhere."
