This week at school, we are focusing on helping any Year 12 students who have not completed work experience yet. Sometimes it is difficult to find placements in the industries that students might want to pursue later, but experience of any workplace can also be useful in learning new skills, using and acquiring transferable skills and engaging in a work environment.

Year 11 students were reminded this week that they need to have completed a work experience placement (virtual or in person) by the end of the academic year. There are many virtual opportunities via the websites mentioned at the end of this week’s Careers News if students are unable to secure in-person placements.
