How to Donate

We warmly encourage Parents/Carers wishing to make either a one-off donation or set up regular giving to our Enrichment & Development Fund

We politely suggest a voluntary donation of £50 per month (or £200 per term). Your generous contributions help us provide outstanding facilities and resources that go beyond what our Local Authority funding can offer.

Donations to the Enrichment & Development Fund,supports a wide variety of elements including:

• Academic enrichment
• Digital resources
• The Arts
• Sports fixtures & events
• Competitive activities such as F1 in Schools, Robotics, Chess

It is important that parents/carers understand that there is no obligation to make donations.  Any amount is welcome and no student will be treated differently should their family choose not to contribute.

There are several ways to financially support the Enrichment & Development Fund.

1. Our preference is that you set up a regular donation via the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) platform which allows users to set up regular (or one-off) donations using Direct Debit, a CAF account, a Card payment or a PayPal payment.

Direct links are available below for all three payment methods, together with information relating to GIFT AID which allows us to claim an additional 25% on all donations, from HMRC.

Donations made via the online 'CAF' platform enables the school to automatically benefit from an additional 25% on donations (made from appropriate UK tax payers) without having to manually process the Gift Aid claim from UK Gov separately.

The CAF platform enables users to set up regular donations via a CAF account or Direct Debit or to donate a one-off donation using a CAF account, a Card Payment or a PayPal Account.

We are currently raising funds via two pages on the CAF platform where donations can be made to either our main Enrichment & Development Fund, or the Cricket Nets project. Either can be accessed directly via the following links:

If you are not using the direct links above, please ensure you select 'St Olave's and St Saviour's Grammar School' when making your donation(s), (NOT 'St Olave's & St Saviour's Schools Foundation CIO' which is a different organisation).

CAF is a registered UK Charity that offers products and services under one roof, to help contributors plan their charitable giving and Gift Aid.

Alternatively, if you do not wish to use the CAF platform, you may set up a Standing Order with your bank either directly via your Online banking/App, or you can fill in the Standing Order Form and Gift Aid Form, returning both originals to the School Finance Office. We will forward the form to your bank on your behalf.

Alternatively, Parents/Carers can donate via their school  sQuid account HERE and select one of the following:

• Donation to the School Enrichment Fund
• Cricket Nets Fund

Gift Aid enables the school to benefit by a further 25% (from the UK Government) of voluntary donations given, so do please remember to tick the Gift Aid box if you are an eligible UK tax payer.
