Lower School Celebration - 2026

On Wednesday, 8th July, we held our annual Lower School Celebration in the Great Hall for pupils in Year 7 and 8 in the company of their Parents/Carers and staff.

This was an occasion to share reports from the pupils about various activities in which they have been involved over the year, and to celebrate our students, with the presentation of prizes to those who have done particularly well academically and displayed outstanding commitment to school life.

We were thrilled to welcome back our Guest of Honour, Old Olavian, Kosi Nwuba (Captain of School, 2016/2017) who gave an inspirational talk about his time at St. Olave’s highlighting the importance of defining your own success, and the benefits of competition to build resilience.

Congratulations to all the students who won Academic, Diligence, Jack Petchey, Bronze and Governors’ Awards and thank all the students who delivered some wonderful musical performances.

This was a memorable occasion where our three pillars of Happiness, Success, and Community, were very much in evidence
