Our recently developed Wellbeing Garden has created a quiet, reflective space for students who need time away from the hustle and bustle of the school day.

This project has been of great significance; Situated in the picturesque old 'Headmaster's' garden it further supports the pastoral care already in place to foster & support good mental health in all our Olavians, which is crucially importance in their academic journey.

Thanks to the generosity of the Olavian community together with the unwavering support and generosity of family and friends from St. Olave's and Cambridge University and work colleagues of Old Olavian, Harry McAleer, we have further enhanced the area, with the installation of two beautiful bespoke legacy gates, creating easy access for students into the garden from the top field. The gate design includes a "H" for Harry within the wrought iron moulding.

The Wellbeing Garden offers a gentle water feature as well as sensory planting and integrated seating in and around the garden which our students are able to enjoy when needing some quiet time.
