Team Maths Challenge Success

On Monday a group of four students from Year 8 and 9 travelled to Tonbridge Grammar school to represent the school in the regional round of the UKMT Team Maths Challenge.
The day dawned gloriously sunny which was the perfect day to spend in a hall. Through four rounds the boys had to work collaboratively to tackle some tricky and interesting problems whilst competing against 10 other schools over the day.
At the end of the day the group managed to score an impressive 232 out of 236 to emerge victorious. With this win the boys have qualified for a place at the National finals to be held in June. Well done to James, Arush, Ethan and Sandoor.
